Financial Literacy Month is this November 2011, organized by Financial Literacy Action Group (FLAG) and the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC). Financial Literacy Month will raise awareness of the need for financial literacy and encourage Canadians to seek information, programs, and services to help strengthen their financial knowledge.
FLAG and FCAC have launched a new website — financialliteracymonth.ca — to help inform Canadians about the multiple programs and services offered by many organizations across the country.
